The fly tying club meets every Tuesday night from 7-9pm at our clubhouse which is located in Strathaven. We have a variety of experts on hand who have extensive experience in fly tying as well as fly fishing for both migratory and non-migratory fish.

The fly tying club is focussed on tying flies in the traditional 'Clyde Style' way. These flies are tied to imitate the real insect as closely as possible.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level. If you are interested in learning to tie your own flies why not join us on a Tuesday night. There is a small charge each night of £1 to help cover the cost of the tying materials.
