The trout season runs from the 15th of March to the 6th of October each year. While the grayling season runs from the 7th of October to the 14th of March.For permit rules, please follow this link - Permit Rules & Forms
The prices for the 2026 season are as follows:
Adult £30Senior £15Junior - FREE
Junior - Anyone who has not attained the age of 16 on or before 11/02/26Senior - Anyone who has attained the age of 65 on or before 11/02/26
Please note, for non-migratory permits, the invoice received after purchase is proof of permit.

For the 2026 season, all juniors can receive a free non-migratory permit. These are obtainable from any permit outlet or online.
