The Lady of the Stream

We often get asked if there are any grayling present within the River Avon. Quite simply the answer is yes. Trying to locate and catch one is a challenge in itself. Usually if you catch one then you'll have a good chance of catching another as they have a tendancy to shoal up together.

Shown in the attached picture is a beautiful example of a grayling that one of our juniour members caught last night whilst fishing for trout. This was a first for him and after a quick photo this fish was safely returned.
